Hello Reader Looks like it's gonna be a sunny weekend in Hong Kong so yay! Stay hydrated but at least you don't need to schlep around with umbrellas and wet shoes π 1. Kwai Chung: Family Dance Musical "Panda-rama"HK Dance Company's kids troupes are putting on a proper panda-themed musical at Kwai Tsing Theatre. It's their 20th anniversary show, so expect polished production values. Good for ages 4+.

2. Tsuen Wan: Weave & ShoutA free interactive textile-themed exhibition where kids can yell into fans, pump air to "rescue" dogs, and play news anchor. Plus there's a giant 3-metre school uniform installation (nostalgia trip for parents). Open daily 10amβ10pm.

4. Wanchai: Hopewell - Exotic PetsA reader went here and told me it's good so you know I had to feature it cause personal reviews = ποΈ! It's free, small and cute and her 2 year old had lots of fun looking at animals like iguanas, giant tortoise and axolotls (I had to google that last one but they are CUTE!). Theres also a dedicated aquatic zone and it's at Hopewell = completely indoors. You can also head to Toys R Us upstairs when you're done and my favourite cheap Japanese kids clothing shop! Mostly rock up but there are also some registration-required workshops and activities

Hello Reader Is the weather finally getting a little cooler? My fingers are crossed! π Here's my picks for the upcoming weekend - proud to say I learnt something new today which is that dino fossils were discovered in HK (I'm picturing T-Rex roaming around Wanchai)! Also included a couple upcoming runs that require pre-registration, as well as a pub quiz for a good cause! 1. Tsuen Wan: D-Park baby carnival If you've got a crawler at home (6-25 months), this is their moment to shine. Free BB...
Hello Reader First red rain on a school day - I guess we're lucky that this year has had minimal weather related disruptions (so far!) but I am in awe of how HK parents deal with this on a regular basis during typhoon season! Thank god for condo indoor playrooms and light rain play π Anyway, here's my picks for the upcoming weekend - and another for a fun workshop in the future (putting it here now so you can sign up by the deadline) 1. Central: Hong Kong Maritime Museum Family Fun Day x...
Hello Reader Who else has been enjoying the breezy weather and kids back at school? ππ»βοΈ Ngl, I've been a little quiet on the social media front the past month - trying to soak in the memories with my kids and also just pooped afterwards but now that they're back in school I'm gonna try a little harder (whilst still balancing the desire not to burn out creating content haha) so stay tuned! Also, I wanted to share something personally exciting for me - scroll down to the bottom to read more!...
