Hello Reader Summer's winding down finally and kids are back at school - can we all breathe a collective sigh of relief? π Although of course, a tiny part of me already misses hanging out with them so here's some ideas for what to do this weekend! 1. Sheung Wan: βFantastic Fairy Talesβ β Relaxed Performances AvailableA lovely stage show for little ones (recommended 3+), and importantly: they offer relaxed performances on 15 August (11am & 3pm) where kids can move around, make noise, and take breaks. Perfect for families with sensory needs or just wiggly kids.

Various: Summer Family CinefestLast call this weekend for the Summer Family Cine Fest β closing out Sat/Sun with four screenings (Tales from the Magic Garden, Mumbo Jumbo, Miss Moxy, Living Large) at the Film Archive and Space Museum. Think a giant hippo on the run, a cat trekking home across Europe, a grandkid's storytelling magic, and a coming-of-age tale about body image β something for every age in the family.
